08:39 am - The grass is greener...on my side of the fence
Well tomorrow is Weight Watchers weigh in and I am actually excited (scary, I know) but I have been busting my butt this week exercising and since I get off early today I am going to go home and do some pilates and some Taebo :) I really hope I get good news about my weight loss progress in the morning!! Then, tomorrow it is Birthday party at my friend Stephanie's house! That is going to be so much fun and the start to my week long birthday festivities!! I am feeling much better about the birthday thing. I think I was reminded that I am not old when the girl who I tutor's dad said "what till you hit 40..then you'll be feeling old" Okay so not exactly a happy thought, but it sure made me feel better! :) I mean, it's only 24, right?
In other news, I was thrilled to find out that Jon's last gift that was on backorder shipped yesterday. So, it should be here before his birthday on Wednesday. It is still so weird that our birthdays are so close together, but it is kind of fun too because we get to exchange gifts at the same time again, kind of like Christmas! :)
On surgery news... it looks like Oct 18th is the date!! I have $150 left to save to pay the $1100 down that I need and I am excited to be so close! So, from now on, my weekly tutoring money will be going straight to this cause! And then if I save extra, I'll use it to replenish my savings again!
So, all in all,in a great mood today and just because it's Friday I guess..but that's good enough for me!

Odd... Hmm... No, I am definitely not a daddy's girl since I am guessing you actually have to speak to your father for that, but I do wish Jon were British or at least had the accent. LOL |
